Bauhaus is something that is close to my heart. In my design education, I always took inspiration from Bauhaus without knowing it. I describe it as simplicity blended with playfulness. This article is a tribute to the iconic designers, architects and artists who gave Bauhaus an identity for years to come.

Several specific features of Bauhaus include simple geometric shapes like rectangles and spheres, without elaborate decorations. Buildings, furniture, and fonts often feature rounded corners and sometimes rounded walls. Bauhaus influenced modern graphic design in the idea on how design is treated and made and influenced graphic design principles, color theory and the use of typography design.
